This painting is about an elegant Orchid which stands above all other flowers presiding over all life in its world. Smaller flowers reach up looking for guidance in this dark purple existence. Much like life itself my paintings share my vision of the world in which we live. There is also a theme of that is very evocative with a feeling of sexual tension Using and underlying abstract grid system with texture and staining techniques I try to bring a luminosity to the whole scene.
